A Double Challenge Tuesday

SCS Color Challenge: Wild Delightful Gold (Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight & Gold)

Mojo Monday #322

My Card…

I did it. I’ve been missing out on all the gold goodness this season, but tonight I went digging through odds and ends boxes of things I’ve accumulated through the years and I struck GOLD! And I didn’t even make too much of a mess ๐Ÿ˜€ They are Magenta outline stickers. I also used the Mojo Monday Sketch 322.

Stamps: Peaceful Wishes – Stampin Up
Paper: SU so saffron, wild wasabi dsp
Ink: daffodil delight
Tools: Cuttlebug EF
Accessories: eyelet, ribbon, Magenta outline stickers

The eyelet in the center of the far left flower is how I anchored the ribbon.

CAS Color Challenge & a Flashback

Clean & Simple Color Challenge: Red & White

I made one elegant and one cute ๐Ÿ™‚

I made this card for my nephew sometime between 2005 – 2008; back when I was jen70 instead of Miss Boo, back when using background stamps (the more the better LOL) was the fad, and back before designer paper and embossing folders entered the card making scene.

Paper: brocade blue, basic black, white

Ink: brocade blue, basic black

Tools: SU punch, eyelet setter, WW crayons

Weekend Challenges

Saturday’s Inspiration Challenge: Horchow
I went straight to the holiday section ๐Ÿ™‚ It had 4 collections. I love elegant, vintage classic, etc. I love Christmas! This year I’m in the mood for making bright cards. And Horchow has a bright collection!!! So, this is what caught my attention: multicolored ball garland.

Then I had two choices: Did I want to use Fluffles surrounded by Christmas bulbs? Or did I want to use Fluffles caught up in Christmas lights. The strand of Christmas lights won because I had other stamps to go with it that I thought looked better in a card design. I hope you like the finished product ๐Ÿ™‚

Stamps: Fluffles – Stampendous, Christmas lights – DRS Designs
Paper: SU real red, garden green dsp
Ink: Memento black, Copic markers
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities
Accessories: taffeta ribbon

Sunday’s Featured Stamper: Linda aka Stickups!

* I used the same layout but used less layers.
* I used different colors and snowman images.
* I used ribbon instead of twine with a button and tags.
* I moved the sentiment.
* Instead of using windows for the snowmen, I popped them up.

Here’s Linda’s beautiful card.
