Clean & Simple Monday Challenge

This is week 10 of our All-Star Holiday Season with design team alumni!

CAS 251 – Bling it up! CAS style with glitter, gems, pearls or liquid pearls, etc.

Image

I chose cardstock that came with the glitter already on it! I love when it’s that simple 🙂 Christmas has already started here in my home. Busy, busy, busy… so clean & simple is just right!

Stamps: Gina K Designs
Paper: SU poppy parade, green glitter – unknown
Ink: Memento black, Copic markers, SU black marker
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities
Techniques: I used a SU marker to ink up just the “Christmas” portion of the sentiment. The inside says… is a fire that warms your heart.

My Card…

Image

I did it. I’ve been missing out on all the gold goodness this season, but tonight I went digging through odds and ends boxes of things I’ve accumulated through the years and I struck GOLD! And I didn’t even make too much of a mess 😀 They are Magenta outline stickers. I also used the Mojo Monday Sketch 322.

Stamps: Peaceful Wishes – Stampin Up
Paper: SU so saffron, wild wasabi dsp
Ink: daffodil delight
Tools: Cuttlebug EF
Accessories: eyelet, ribbon, Magenta outline stickers

The eyelet in the center of the far left flower is how I anchored the ribbon.

My Favorite Christmas Card

So far, this has been my favorite Christmas card I’ve made this season. It was for last week’s Clean & Simple Inspiration challenge.

The inspiration challenge came from this Pinterest page.

Here is the card that I made. The Santa hats were the driving force for this card and the rest just came together for me.

Clean and Simple – Inpsired by Music

This week, the Clean & Simple Challenge was to be inspired by music. I was so tempted to pull out my favorite Christmas music stamp (O Holy Night), but I have several music stamps that go unused. I ended up making two cards, one with Stampin’ Up stamps and one with a Unity stamp.

I received a few comments from stampers who liked the red and white. Hint: You’ll get a challenge soon 🙂

Recipe: Just a Note

Stamps: Mini Mates (I feel like I’ve had this set for ages and haven’t used it in ages, too.)

Paper: old olive, real red

Ink: always artichoke, real red

Accessories: real red gingham ribbon (It’s making me very sad that I’m almost out of this ribbon. I wonder if SU still sells it.)
